    Amanda, that is really extraordinary! I'd never heard of miniature eye portraits and found the articl fascinating but I have to admit I don't think I would like one! Am I alone in finding them a little bit... odd?

    LOL Nicola! I definitely find them a bit creepy, and wouldn't want one around staring at me all the time. :) But the history behind them is so interesting. (I hadn't heard of them until I read one of Stephanie Barron's Jane Austen mysteries, "Jane and the Wandering Eye")
