Busy History Week

So, this week is a busy one for historical anniversaries! First we have the sad ends of two Tudor women. The execution of Mary Queen of Scots in 1554 (February 8):

The execution of Catherine Howard on February 13, 1542:


And a happy anniversary, the wedding of Victoria and Albert on February 10, 1844!



(Funnily, the same actress, Emily Blunt, has played both Victoria and Catherine...)
