How is it? I need to read that before I go to England in May for the Anne Boleyn Experience at Hever. Funny thing, I've never really warmed to Alison Weir's writing. And I've tried. I own her books on Isabella and Mary Stuart.

Oh, I'm soooo jealous you get to go to the Anne Boleyn Experience! It was a little spendy for me this year, but I'm hoping they make it an annual thing so I can do it next year.

As for the book--I'm not a big fan of Alison Weir, either (I've been slowly making my way through "Mistress of the Monarchy"), but I think "Lady in the Tower" has some good, detailed information about the last few days of Anne's life that might be useful/interesting for you before you go. I still think Eric Ives has the best all-around Boleyn biography.

And thanks for the shout-out on Scandalous Women!!

I need to read Mistress of the Monarchy. One of the first women that I wrote about was Katherine Swynford who I have been intrigued by since I read Anya Seton's novel. I have the Alison Weir book on reserve at the library. I also liked Joanna Denny's book as well.

I liked the Denny book, too. It made a long airport layover bearable for me while I was reading it. She really hated some of the people she wrote about, though, like Katherine of Aragon and Thomas More! :)
