Weekend Links

Well, this has been a week that feels like a (long) year.  I am getting ready to dive into some farmers market shopping and reading this weekend before tackling book revisions that just landed on my desk.  And here's a few distraction...  (also, don't forget to talk like a pirate today!  My book High Seas Stowaway, if you want some historical seafaring hijinks is .99)

It was Agatha Christie's Birthday on September 15!  I think I'll do a re-read in her honor (some favorites--Death on the Nile, The Hollow, 5 Little Pigs)

Weekend Links

Happy mid-January, everyone!  My birthday is past, and now I am just huddled down in the cold trying to finish this WIP (Christmas in Gilded Age New York!).  Brrr.  Luckily I have lots of books, tea, and writing to keep me busy until the sun peeks our way again.

(Check out this adorable "The Holiday" mug a friend gave me for Christmas!!  It's so perfect for my mood right now)

In the meantime, here are some reads to distract us...

Things I Love Thursday

What I love today--garden gnomes! Maybe it's because we're having record-setting low temps outside, and it's literally freezing, but I'm having fun planning flower beds and vegetable patches for the summer. And I love to put gnomes amid the plants, peeking out at us. I know they're cheesy, and sometimes even a little scary, but I enjoy their cute little faces and pointy hats in the warm weather.

What's your favorite season?
